Can You Really Be Perfect?

In Matthew's Gospel (Matt 5:38-48), Jesus tells his disciples, and us his followers, to "be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." Can we really be perfect? I explore this as we explore Jesus' instruction to us to put aside retribution and embrace others into the Kingdom of God.

Emmanuel - We are Never Alone

During the Advent season we can begin to feel the approaching season of Advent with gloom rather than with anticipation. It's a time of year when we can feel alone. That's why I talk about the fact that because of Jesus--Emmanuel, we are never alone!
